Cambridge Church began in the early 1800s as a camp meeting site, with the Tennessee Annual Conference establishing it in 1818 as a United Methodist Church. Knowing its rich spiritual history, Friendship Church is honored to partner with Cambridge as our third Friendship campus. The people of Friendship at Cambridge are excited to see the work of the Holy Spirit continue to change lives. We invite you to join us at Cambridge as we actively seek God’s Kingdom and pray for His will to be done in the East Limestone community and beyond.

Our Traditional Worship service begins every Sunday morning at 8:15am and is located in the original sanctuary. This traditional United Methodist service consists of hymns, a responsive reading, announcements, a greeting time, corporate prayer, an offering, a sermon, communion, and a benediction; about one hour total. (There is currently no childcare or kids’ activities during this service time.) Our church family has a wide range of dress–from “Sunday best” to “blue-jean casual.” As a first time guest you will have an opportunity to meet our pastor after the service. We look forward to experiencing worship with you!
We have Contemporary Worship services every Sunday morning at 9:30 & 11:00am. Enter the worship center of the new building, where you will find greeters to help direct you to the service or to the Friendship Kids check-in area. Our greeters will direct you to our welcome center, where you can find information about how to connect with our church family. This contemporary service consists of corporate praise & worship, an offering, corporate prayer, announcements, a greeting time, a sermon, and communion; about one hour total. Our church family has a wide range of dress–from “Sunday best” to “blue-jean casual.” As a first time guest, you will have an opportunity to meet our pastor after the service. We look forward to experiencing worship with you!
